Tasted at the de Myrat vertical at the property. The 2007 Chateau de Myrat is the vintage were this historic property finally "got back into the ring" after it recommenced production in 1990. It has an attractive dried honey, apricot blossom and quince scented bouquet that still feels vigorous and with more to give for those who prefer their Sauternes with age. The palate is medium-bodied with a viscous opening, a fine line of acidity, harmonious and refined with a finish that just seems to "flow" with lovely citrus fruit, honey, mandarin and spice notes.
