This beautifully aged single vineyard Châteauneuf-du-Pape is at its peak – we have done the work for you! Made from 45+ year old vines located to the southeast of the appellation, close to the commune of Courthézon. The terroir is composed by a variety of soils, which add complexity to the wine. A blend of Grenache (70%), Syrah (15%) and Mourvèdre (15%) the wine sees 10% new barrique and the rest in foudre.
“exhibits plenty of pepper, lavender, raspberry, black currant, and floral characteristics. Full-bodied with moderate tannin, superb depth and purity, and a broad, compelling, 40-second finish” Robert Parker.
