Hardys Chardonnay (Eileen Hardy) 2001

 Wines produced under the Eileen Hardy label represent the finest expression of fruit flavour that can be found from any one vintage. This is a very tightly knit wine made in a way that will see the wine ‘grow’ considerably in the bottle.

The aroma of pale gold colour. The aroma of cashew and spice was followed by notes of yeast lees and unripe nectarine. The palate reveals a creamy texture, with flavours of cashew, semi-ripe nectarine, nuances of yeast lees and biscuit. Clean acid finish with an aftertaste of unripe nectarine, spice and just a touch of toast.
